Hector Delgado

Navy SEAL and Special Agent Hector Delgado has delivered compelling public speaking events, engaging audiences with captivating accounts of his leadership stories and remarkable journey. Drawing from his experiences in the military, law-enforcement, and the Business community, Delgado has courageously shared the adversities, challenges, and ultimate successes that have shaped his illustrious career. Honorably serving for 29 year Navy years in both active and reserve components as an enlisted and SEAL officer, Hector highlighted his career as the Operations Officer for the famed Task Unit Bruiser in Ramadi, Iraq in 2006. His duty stations included SEAL Team TWO, FOUR, THREE, EIGHTEEN, Special Operation Command South and Central.

LAW ENFORCEMENT
Transitioning from active duty and into the SEAL reserves, Hector entered into Federal Law Enforcement as a Deputy United States Marshal serving at the Southern District of New York and Southern District of Florida with his primary duties apprehending federal fugitives and protecting federal judges.

Immediately following the horrible tragedy of 9/11, Hector transferred from the US Marshals to US Customs Service which eventually became Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).  As an HSI Special Agent, Hector conducted criminal investigations into the illegal movement of people, goods, money, contraband, weapons and sensitive technology into, out of and through the United States. HSI’s investigations are wide ranging – many cases include drug and weapons smuggling, cyber and financial crime, illegal technology exports and intellectual property crime. Hector was also an active member and training officer of the Miami HSI Special Response Team (SRT) affecting high threat arrest warrants. 

ENTREPRENEUR
Delgado’s transition into entrepreneurship led him to found SOS Technologies.  SOS Technologies is dedicated to reducing the time necessary to mitigate risk across communities by enabling the power of technology and people. The first line of response in any crisis event is people. Today he puts his vast experience and expertise to work as speaker, team-building coach, author and trainer, helping individuals, teams and organizations of all types and sizes to define and implement lasting change, even in the wake or face of failure, crisis and adversity.  Delgado has been married for 25 years and has a daughter attending the University of Alabama.
